New Apps and Current Developments in the Business ByDesign Environment
The SAP Conference “SAPPHIRE NOW 2016” was held in Orlando (Florida, USA) from May 17-19, 2016. A meeting where SAP managers and consultants from all over the world come together to exchange news and ideas about the latest SAP developments. Just one day beforehand, the SAP Business ByDesign User Conference 2016 also took place in Orlando on May 16, 2016. Members of Bösch GmbH & Co.KG were there as experts, with the aim of observing current developments in regard to SAP Business ByDesign, while swapping information and ideas with other leading SAP partners as well as international customers. As specialists in SAP Business ByDesign, the Bösch consultants are perfectly prepared for any change, allowing them to always offer their customers the most effective solutions in the area of SAP Business ByDesign.
The staff responsible at SAP have long been focusing on the increasing mobility of entrepreneurs and their employees. Renewed endeavors are once again underway towards boosting the usability of SAP products on mobile end devices. Above all, the integration of personalized apps aims to make things much easier for sales partners in future. These also include apps enabling individual analysis functions to be provided. SAP would therefore like to intensify its support for the development and use of freestyle apps.
A larger selection will soon be available among the prepared packages for more rapid implementation in the IT systems of customers. It is, above all, the development and extension of supported web services that plays a major role here. This aims to ensure that various SAP products can be integrated in a system landscape so as to achieve a level of interactivity between individual areas and functions as high as possible. Some SAP solutions from the Hybris, Success Factors or Ariba series are to be integrated more easily with SAP Business ByDesign in future. SAP is not only drawing on its own resources here, but also enlisting the expertise of development partners, so as to forge ahead with the development over a broad spectrum.
SAP is willing to move with the times, while placing ever more focus on the user-friendliness of its software, as is clearly revealed by the following statistics “Ausgaben von SAP für Forschung und Entwicklung von 2006 bis 2015 (in Millionen Euro)”.
The expenditures by SAP for research and development in the past ten years are outlined here. What is immediately apparent is that the expenditures have risen considerably when viewed as a whole. A total increase by more than 100% is discernible in the entire observation period. In 2015 in particular, SAP invested a great deal in research and development.
