While creating customer invoices, you specify how the customer has to pay the invoice. This includes defining payment terms.

Payment terms determine the time period within which the customer has to pay the invoice. This period can be of different duration. SAP Business ByDesign provides a variety of payment terms.

Since there is no formal requirement for payment terms, you can map any terms of payment on your invoice. If the format you require is not available in the standard SAP Business ByDesign, you can also define your own payment terms in Fine Tuning.
